Centre for Agricultural Management
We provide the highest standard of agricultural management training through relevant formal and informal training, research and development programmes.
The Centre for Agricultural Management is unique in South Africa and services are provided to other regions countrywide as well as neighbouring countries.
The Centre is managed by a Management Board constituted from representatives of partners (donors), four heads of departments from the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty, the Director of MUCPP as well as the head of the Centre. During the annual meeting of the Management Board, discussions are held with donor companies to ensure that the formal and informal training programmes will always be relevant and comply with the needs of the private sector.
Donors for the first ten years of the Centre's existence are the First National Bank through their FNB Fund, VKB, Afgri and Agri Risk Specialists (ARS).
